Begini ceritanya teman, saya ingin nerapin konsep MVC di program aplikasi yang saya buat (tentunya menggunakan Delphi). Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk mengadopsi keunggulan2 dari konsep MVC (walaupun ada kekurangan yg harus dibayar yaitu performance). Setelah googling sana-sini, saya menemukan ebook [u:58f1d583a8]"Architecting Microsoft .NET Solutions for the Enterprise"[/u:58f1d583a8] yg membahas tentang layering aplikasi. Disitu dijelaskan tentang konsep Three-Layered Application, detailnya: 1. Presentation Layer, berisikan Main Windows form class dan Other form class, singkatnya semua form yg dibangung masuk kategory layer ini, termasuk juga mslh validasi umum (selain validasi proses bisnis) 2. Middle Layer, berisikan sekumpulan Business Class, singkatnya semua bisnis proses masuk ke dalam kategory layer ini. 3. Database Layer, berisikan Database Class dan Database, singkatnya hampir mirip Data Access Object, semua hal yg berkaitan dengan proses database CRUD masuk ke dalam kategori ini. Berikut sedikit isi dari buku tersebut: • To simplify development and maintenance, many applications use a three-layered architecture to separate the application’s user interface, business rules and database processing. Classes are used to implement the functions performed at each layer of the architecture. • The classes in the presentation layer control the application’s user interface. For a Windows Forms application, the user interface consists of various forms that make up the application. • The classes in the middle layer sometimes called the business rules layer act as an interface between the classes in the presentation layer and database layers. These classes can represent business entities, such as customers or products, or they can implement business rules, such as discount or credit policies. • When the classes in the middle layer represent business entities, the classes can be referred to a business class and the objects that are created from these classes can be referred to as business object. • Often, the classes that make up the database layer and the middle layer are implements in class libraries that can share among applications. Tujuan utama saya ingin menerapkan konsep tsb tidak lain untuk mempermudah pengerjaan project dalam team, mempermudah maintenance, program juga terstruktur rapi. Terima Kasih.
